Name of the Project

Guided Manor Tour - Accessible to people with special needs through audio visual solutions

Summary of the project

The improvement plan for Tõstamaa Manor focused on two key areas: digital marketing and promotion, and inclusive tourism. In digital marketing, the plan included maintaining active communication with clients by responding to comments and engaging on online platforms. Efforts were made to enhance Tõstamaa Manor's visibility by adding it to Google Maps, Waze, and other popular mapping services. Information about the manor was regularly updated on its Google Business Profile, social media, and tourism platforms like TripAdvisor and VisitEstonia. The manor's website and other online channels were audited and improved for better accessibility and visual appeal, including restructuring content and adding descriptive picture names. Continuous reviews ensured information was clear, user-friendly, and client-focused. Accessibility information was also added to all online channels to support diverse visitors.

In inclusive tourism, an accessibility audit for the manor's main building was conducted, covering mobility, visual, and hearing impairments, with plans to expand it to mental health accessibility. Recommendations from the audit formed the foundation for a long-term development plan, though further financial planning was needed for implementation. Suggestions for audio-visual solutions were developed to enhance inclusivity, and steps were taken to improve signage and roadmap design for a better visitor experience.
