2022 SME Assembly - Digital Transformation of SMEs
Summary of the content and its utility
This session discussed recommendations to help SMEs realise the full potential of digitalisation, through supporting digital technologies, processes innovation, alongside organisational changes (key technologies include robotics, 3D printing, artificial intelligence, machine learning, the Internet of Things (IoT), cloud, digital platforms, automation, big data, and e-commerce). The session also identified how the EU and national governments are supporting SMEs, and how to foster that support.
This session was comprised of an introduction by the moderator; presentations by the speakers in the order set out; followed an interactive Q&A with the delegates. The moderator concluded with key takeaways.
