Summary of the content and its utility
Every year around the globe, 1.3 billion tonnes of food is lost or wasted. That is one-third of all food produced for human consumption. There is a huge opportunity for the tourism and hospitality industry in the Asia Pacific region to take a bit out of this problem. This report titled Building an Understanding For Food Excess in Tourism (BUFFET) aims to evaluate the opportunities for the industry and region to step up to the plate and do our part.
