Masilune's Culinary Delights
Summary of the project
"Masilune's Culinary Delights" at Hotel Roja will introduce a new catering program inspired by the culinary heritage of Latvian gastronomic legend Antonina Masilune (Ņina), commemorating her 100th birthday celebrated in 2021. The program will offer four-season menus for individual guests, featuring recipes and techniques developed by Masilune. For group catering, specialties of Latvian national cuisine will be highlighted. Additionally, guests will have the opportunity to participate in a masterclass on making Chocolate Salami or 'Sweet Brunette', a signature dish. Meals will be served in vintage porcelain dishes from the former Riga Porcelain Factory, adding to the historical ambiance of the experience. This initiative aims to provide guests with an immersive culinary journey, celebrating the rich heritage of Latvian cuisine in an authentic and memorable setting.
