Summary of the project
The project "Conscious Ecotourism: Discovering the Past and Future of Energy" proposes a unique tourism experience that capitalizes on the installation of three wind turbines near an accommodation. Rather than viewing the turbines as a threat to the landscape, the project sees them as an opportunity to attract a new customer segment interested in sustainable travel. The itinerary includes visits to the wind turbines and the historic 'Vicenta' coal mine, both located in the same municipality as the accommodation. By integrating these elements, the project aims to offer tourists an educational and immersive experience that highlights the evolution of energy production while promoting sustainability in tourism.
