Summary of the project
The project aims to boost tourism in a specific region by creating a program package. This comprehensive initiative involves studying travel habits and identifying pre- and post-season needs to fill the current gap in available program packages. The plan includes promoting longer tourist stays by showcasing local sights, crafts, and unique traditions, incorporating local gastronomic elements, and exploring folk traditions in the region.
To enhance the company's operations and sell the program package, the project outlines various digital improvements. This includes digitizing SME processes, implementing a Google Calendar for scheduling, developing a digital system for guest communication and information dissemination, and implementing digital marketing strategies. These strategies involve Facebook training, content calendar creation, SEO settings for a new website, and targeting new audiences by emphasizing traditional animal husbandry and folk-art traditions. The project also highlights the importance of professional photography and active promotion on social media platforms and websites.
Additionally, the project emphasizes marketing intelligence and data analysis to define the target clientele through an analysis of travel habits. It also adopts a green and sustainable approach, aiming for the National Trademark by incorporating sustainable management practices and consulting. The initiative also includes integrating local products into the program package to support local supply chains.
The soft/social aspects of the project focus on creating meaningful experiences for visitors. This involves developing products centered around local and traditional activities, organizing joint events with folklorists, and fostering integration with the local community. The project underscores the importance of becoming a member of a local cooperative and support structure to strengthen ties with the community.
