Summary of the content and its utility
PANTOUR, a project focusing on tourism skills, aims to bridge the gap between industry needs and existing education and training. It establishes National Skills Groups involving tourism entrepreneurs, educators, and the public sector. The project addresses emerging jobs and skills, providing a methodology and an integrated platform for the five subsectors in tourism. Building on the outcomes of the Next Tourism Generation project, PANTOUR aligns with the EU Pact for Skills in tourism, promoting competence debate and workforce reskilling. The current research stage involves studying industry post-COVID and technical innovations, with opportunities for stakeholders to participate and stay informed through webinars.
