Summary of the content and its utility
The European Commission's updated industrial strategy, initiated in 2020, focuses on green and digital transformations to enhance global competitiveness and resilience. The tourism sector, severely affected by the pandemic, underwent a co-creation process for a transition pathway, resulting in a policy report with 70 actions. Federturismo actively participated, committing to supporting digitalization, raising awareness on skills needs, and endorsing the Pact for Skills. The federation's tangible contributions include coordinating the TOURISM4.0 project, leading the NTG project, and actively supporting the launch and implementation of the Pact for Skills. Increasing tangible evidence of EU aid may boost confidence in European Institutions.
