Description
The main objective of the newly launched FARMS' CHARM project is therefore to educate small and medium-sized farmers in possible ways to start agro-tourism activities that will help them not only to diversify their income but also to promote their agricultural products directly to consumers. All this while revitalizing rural areas and local communities and promoting a sustainable way of tourism that is in line with the tendency to slow down and stay longer in one area. The project plans to gather current examples of existing farms that are already applying agro-tourism practices and to create a set of diverse tools to educate farmers in agro-tourism methods.
